Cafe Culture Chiangmai

Cafe Culture is really popular across the northern province of Chiangmai, with a huge variety of outlets such as stalls, small shops, and elaborate layouts.

One factor that makes Cafe Culture so popular are the many local varieties of coffee grown on the northern mountainsides; perhaps the best known is Doi Thung.

Standing out from the crowd takes more than just serving a half decent Latte, and these are a selection of cafes and coffeeshops that get decent mentions on the web.

This rustic restaurant and coffee shop in Mae Rim district is rated by some as the best Cafe in the province, but we can’t verify that.

A bizarre mix of modern art, pseudo Arabian decorations, and northern Thai artifacts give this friendly place its unique feel.

Clay Studio in the Garden

Is this a Khymer temple or an ancient Lanna home? Actually it’s neither but it could possibly be mistaken for either, with both Thai and Khymer style clay decorations everywhere you look.

The gardens are a very relaxing place enjoy a coffee and snack.
